NyQuil Cold and Flu Relief Liquid is a nighttime medicine that temporarily relieves common cold and flu symptoms, including headache, fever, sore throat, minor aches and pains, sneezing, runny nose and cough. One dose starts working fast so you can get the rest you need instead of lying awake with your cold.
It comes as a cherry-flavoured liquid in a 12 fl oz bottle, and the formula also comes in original and vanilla cherry swirl if you prefer a different taste. It suits adults and children 12 years and over who want multi-symptom cold and flu relief at night.

How to Use
Take only as directed and see the overdose warning. Use the dose cup or a tablespoon. Adults and children 12 years and over: 30 ml (2 TBSP) every 6 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses per 24 hours. Children 4 to under 12 years: ask a doctor. Children under 4 years: do not use. When using other DayQuil or NyQuil products, carefully read each label to ensure correct dosing.
Tip: If you also use DayQuil during the day, read each label carefully so you do not take more than the maximum daily amount of acetaminophen.
Good to Know+
- Contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you take more than 4 doses in 24 hours, with other drugs containing acetaminophen, or with 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product.
- Do not use with any other drug containing acetaminophen, or if you are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or have stopped one within the last 2 weeks.
- Ask a doctor before use if you have liver disease, glaucoma, a cough with too much phlegm, a breathing problem or chronic cough, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate, or a sodium-restricted diet.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives, tranquilizers or the blood thinning drug warfarin.
