How to Use
Use only as directed by a medical professional. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before preparing. Pour the desired amount of water into the bottle, then add powder. Cap the bottle and shake well. Use the charts on the product label for the correct amounts of water and powder, and measure powder with the scoop in the can. Store the scoop dry in its original can.
Tip: Ask your baby's doctor whether you should use cooled, boiled water for mixing, and whether bottles, nipples and utensils need boiling before use, as proper hygiene, preparation, dilution, use and storage matter with infant formula.
Good to Know+
- Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by a doctor.
- Discuss with the doctor which formula is appropriate for your baby.
- Do not use a microwave oven to warm formula, as serious burns may result.
- Once prepared, formula can spoil quickly: feed immediately, or cover and store in the refrigerator at 35-40°F (2-4°C) for no longer than 24 hours.
