Differin Gel is a prescription strength acne retinoid, made with 0.1% adapalene. It works differently from many other acne treatments by helping to normalize skin cell turnover, targeting clogged pores and inflammation, the two main causes of acne. It clears existing breakouts and helps prevent new ones from forming.
The formula is water based and oil free, with no alcohol or fragrance, and it is non comedogenic. Lightweight and easy to layer, it suits normal, combination and acne prone skin, and can be used in either your morning or evening routine. In a clinical study, it provided up to 87 percent reduction in acne breakouts after 12 weeks, with results continuing to improve with further use.

How to Use
For adults and children 12 years and older. Use once daily. Clean the skin gently and pat dry before applying. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer; for example, if your acne is on the face, apply to the entire face. Do not use more than once a day, as applying more than directed will not give faster or better results and may worsen irritation.
Tip: Differin can be used in your morning or evening routine, but when using it, limit sun exposure, including light from tanning beds, and use sunscreen outdoors.
