How to Use

Stovetop: combine 1 cup uncooked rice mix, 1-1/2 cups water, 1 tsp butter or margarine and 1/2 tsp salt (optional) in a 3 qt saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir once. Cover with a tight-fitting lid or foil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5-10 minutes. Microwave: combine the same ingredients in a 2-3 qt microwavable dish. Cover and microwave on High for 5 minutes, then reduce to 50% power and cook for 15 minutes. Let stand for 5-10 minutes, then stir before serving. Microwave instructions are a guideline as ovens vary.
