How to Use
Begin on your quit day. If you smoke your first cigarette more than 30 minutes after waking, use this 2 mg lozenge. Weeks 1 to 6: one lozenge every 1 to 2 hours, with at least 9 lozenges per day. Weeks 7 to 9: one lozenge every 2 to 4 hours. Weeks 10 to 12: one lozenge every 4 to 8 hours. Place the lozenge in your mouth and let it slowly dissolve. Minimize swallowing. Do not chew or swallow it. You may feel a warm or tingling sensation. Occasionally move it from one side of your mouth to the other until fully dissolved. Do not eat or drink 15 minutes before use or while the lozenge is in your mouth. Do not use more than one lozenge at a time or one after another. Do not use more than 5 lozenges in 6 hours or more than 20 lozenges per day. If you feel you need to use it longer, talk to your health care provider.
