This is a Lugol's iodine solution from Heiltropfen, supplied in a 30 ml dark amber glass bottle with a glass dropper. It contains 2.2% iodine and 4.4% potassium iodide in demineralized water, made with pharmaceutical grade ingredients. Each vertical drop delivers about 2.772 mg of iodine and potassium iodide combined (1.1 mg iodine and 1.672 mg potassium iodide). It is a first aid antiseptic for external use and can also be used as a water purifier at 6 drops per liter.

The dark amber glass and glass pipette help protect the contents from sunlight, and the bottle comes securely packed in a durable heavy-duty cardboard tube that is convenient for travel. It does not need refrigeration.
