This Fleet Mineral Oil Enema is a single-use enema formulated with mineral oil USP. It lubricates and softens stool to help relieve occasional constipation. It comes ready to use with a Comfortip applicator.

The enema delivers a measured amount of mineral oil. It is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over. Children under 2 should not use it.

How to Use

Remove the orange protective shield from the Comfortip before inserting. With steady pressure, gently insert the enema tip into the rectum with a slight side-to-side movement, tip pointing toward the navel. Insertion may be easier if the person bears down as if having a bowel movement. Do not force the tip. Squeeze the bottle until nearly all liquid is gone; it is not necessary to empty it completely. Remove the tip from the rectum. Retain the enema in accordance with your doctor's instructions. Dosage: Adults and children 12 years and over: one bottle. Children 2 to under 12 years: one half bottle. Children under 2 years: do not use. Positions: Left side position: lie on left side with right knee bent, arms resting comfortably. Knee-chest position: kneel, then lower head and chest forward until left side of face rests on surface with left arm folded comfortably. Follow with a cleansing enema if needed: use a regular Fleet enema to cleanse the bowel.

Tip: For best results, follow with a regular Fleet enema to help remove stools or residue that have been softened and lubricated.
