How to Use
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before preparing. Pour the desired amount of water into the bottle, then add powder. Cap the bottle and shake well. Use the charts on the product label for the correct amounts of water and powder, and measure powder with the scoop in the tub or can. Store the dry scoop in the lid holder in the tub or in the can. Use only as directed by a medical professional.
Tip: Ask your baby's doctor whether you should use cooled, boiled water for mixing and whether utensils, bottles and nipples need to be boiled in water before use.
Good to Know+
- Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by a doctor.
- Discuss with the doctor which formula is appropriate for your baby.
- Do not use a microwave oven to warm formula, as serious burns may result.
- Opened bottles can spoil quickly. Either feed immediately or replace the cap and store in the refrigerator at 35-40 degrees F (2-4 degrees C) for no longer than 24 hours.
